Mercury Training Services Ltd., has a long and established reputation for quality and service, especially within the security and safety markets. This, in part, has been down to the range of unique experience and skills of Paul Lawton-Jones, the Owner and Managing Director. His background includes serving in the HM Armed Forces as a submariner which included providing communications training to senior officers. Paul has also worked in the prison service, dealing with conflict management and physical intervention before becoming training co-ordinator for CCTV and ARC at Chelsfield PLC, where he was awarded a National Training Award by the Department of Education. He has since worked as a Regional Training Advisor for SITO (now known as Skills for Security), advising national companies on best practice for the learning and development of their teams. Paul is a qualified counsellor for stress management, an experienced Health & Safety practitioner and a member of the institute for Leadership Management.
